LEBTA’s involvement in Business and Tourism activities in and around
Lakes Entrance makes it a very vibrant organisation
Some of the activities LEBTA is involved with presently are:

- Management of two units that are used by the Cunningham Arm Medical Centre and Gippsland Lakes Community Health to provide free, or nominal fee accommodation to temporary stay Doctors and medical staff.
- LEBTA with Lions organises the Australia Day Commemorative proceedings each year.
- Signage project in conjunction with the East Gippsland Shire and Vic Roads, to improve signage on the new Nowa Nowa Bypass and entrances on both sides of Lakes Entrance.
- Skyshow 2011 – A massive fireworks display on the foreshore of Lakes Entrance on New Years Eve.

5. Supporting role in the development of the Seafarers Festival, Lakes Entrance Fishing Convention and other events.
6. Creation and development of major advertising campaigns in both print and television, specifically focussing on Lakes Entrance.
7. Working with the East Gippsland Shire to achieve major infrastructure projects, such as the Cunninghamme Quay and the Recreational (Accomodation) Vehicles projects. Regular liaison with Lakes Entrance Visitor Information Centre.
8. Advertising discounts through local newspapers and access to information and advertising.
9. Communication – something LEBTA is always striving to improve – supplying members with informative and up-to-date news releases and emails relevant to their particular industry.
