Boating regulations:  Transport Services Victoria (former MSV) are running information sessions on the new Marine Safety Act 2010.  Sessions will be held on Tuesday 16 Aug: Commercial boats 3.30pm.  Recreation boats 6.30pm.  Venue L E Golf Club.  More information from TSV.

DSE burning:  Maps and information are available at DSE Bairnsdale on proposed burning for the next 3 years.  Comments on these plans are required by 31 Aug.
